The current July/August 2007 issue of this
top magazine to the restaurant and hotel trade has a beautiful article on Greek
cuisine entitled, "Greek Drama" and subtitled, "Taverna cuisine gets a
Greek-American restaging fit for the gods." On page 91 at the end of the article:
"Kathy Spiliotopoulos, vice president of
the Greek Food and Wine Institute, says, 'Greek cuisine is now reaching new
heights, and Greek winemakers are rising to the challenge. The more than
300 native grape varietals, steeped in thousands of years of Greek wine-making
history, create an incomparable palette.' "
